Rikki Sneddon + Slant Of Light

Wow, I am so excited to be sharing this with you.  Just received in the mail the records from my collaboration with Boston MA based folk/americana band Slant Of Light!  They look SO good!  It's amazing to hold something in my hands and know that it's going to be all over the place with all kinds of people I will never meet, looking at it and holding just like I am now.

 
      Seeing my art on a product like this is truly one of the most exciting things I have experienced so far.  The bands lead vocals, M.E Foley was great to work with as well as their graphic designer Erin Gerret she did such an amazing job designing for the record.            
      The album is now available for download on Slant Of Lights Website.  I will be holding a drawing through my blog and on Facebook in the next few weeks and one winner will receive one of the full size records including the 7" single that the band was kind enough to send me.

First Day!

My first day working at the PRCA (Prairie Renaissance Cultural Alliance) Gallery went well.  Trained in and got to work with my first few customers this morning.  I also got to talk to a few fellow artists and got some good tips and info from them.  I knew taking another step into the art world would help me out career wise, just being more involved with the arts and other artists in the community is already starting to pay off :D  Have a great weekend everyone! 2014 Summer collection | In Progress

Hi all!  Well I just returned from a quick weekend getaway to the North shore / Lake superior.  In search of some peace of mind (Noisy riotous thoughts lately) and inspiration to continue my summer line.  The collection will include small watercolor mixed media originals, a few larger canvas paintings and I am hoping to do some small canvas 2 or 3 piece sets.  The first three pieces are available in my Etsy Shop.  The collection is heavily inspired by early 20's style, art deco and....jungle?  It's this look I've been building in my head and I can't wait to see it start coming together!  Stay Tuned for more mood boards, WIP and available products.  Major work being done on my Society6 shop, hoping to have more items available there soon.  For those of you who don't know my ETSY shop is still my number one online venue, you deal with me directly, my Society6 shop allows me to offer fun things with my art like pillows and T-shirts :D  Hopefully between the two of them you can find just the thing you are looking for!
